Adventure is Calling And You Must Go

Everyone has something nagging at them. This quiet thing that calls you to do something crazy. Most of the time we push it down and try to smother it out, but if we would give ourselves a chance, our entire lives could change.

I’ve always believed that what you are passionate about, what fuels your fire, is not random, it’s connected to your purpose and essential that you follow it. Do you love to travel? Do you want to write a book? Start your own business? Go do those things! The more you neglect your desires, the desires God built into you, the further away from your destiny you will become and essentially more confused and lost.

Those small things that tug at your heart are as much a part of you as your eye color and height, they were intertwined into your DNA for a reason. Too many people never live to their full potential because it is scary. It’s not for the faint of heart. People will judge you, criticize you, and think you’ve lost your mind. But you know what, that’s okay.

God doesn’t judge you, criticize you, or think you’ve lost your mind. He wants you to stand out and be different, to be the person He designed you to be. You won’t fit into the world because you were never made to.

Live big and you will change the world, but live small and the world will change you. Humans are easily influenced so don’t let yourself be led into a life of fear. Sure, there’s plenty of negative, but there’s also an equal amount of positive if you choose to see it.

Seek out people that build you up. Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers. Find your tribe. The world will make you think there’s only one right way to live, but in truth that’s only one route, not the undeniable truth.

God made you YOU for a reason. No other person on this planet can fulfill what you were put here to do. Don’t trade your destiny for a fear based life. He will give you the wings to fly, you only have to have the courage to jump off the cliff. Laugh at your failures, they don’t define you. You are a burning fire full of life and vision and dreams. Go chase them, run, don’t walk towards the place God is calling you.

Life is so much bigger than bills, fancy houses, or good jobs. It is full of sunrises in foreign places and oceans beaming with life you have no understanding of. It’s watching a baby take its first steps and failing at something you love only to dust yourself off and get back up again. Life is happy tears and screaming at the top of your lungs on a mountain top. It’s raw and real and beautiful.

Don’t settle for less than the best this world has to offer. Dream big, live bigger. You weren’t made for a small slice of the cake. You get the whole cake to share with anyone and everyone you choose. Pick up your sword and defeat your giants. God won’t let you fail, He is with you. Go chase your dreams and don’t look back. Life is too short to live afraid.

In the end, it won’t matter how you lived, but how you were. Be kind and curious. We all die eventually, it’s the mark we leave on the world that will live on. Remember, God has your back, He’s got you. Fear is a liar, don’t let it control you. Follow the sun and fly.
